Dr.(Mrs.) Kaveri Sridhar a renowned Vocalist, the Director and President of Bangalore Youth Choir, an institution to promote Indian Choral Music. She has taken up the responsibility of teaching the Carnatic vocal music to Miss. Shivamma (Visually Challenged Student) of the Academy who possesses a unique voice and a great interest in music. Shivamma has already performed in many musical concerts in various parts of Bangalore and has gained the appreciation from the audience. The Sharma School of Music and Fine Arts, Mahalakshmi layout, Bangalore has taken up the task of teaching Keyboard, Carnatic Classical Music and Light Music to many students of the Academy and have provided opportunities for children to perform on various occasions.
